Please review these Terms carefully as they serve important information about your parameters of action and obligations with regards to this online platform.

SOMLA’s mission is to enable members of SOM to realise their full leadership and resource management potential. We enable approved facilitators to create and share insightful course content for learners to consume. These Terms apply to all activities on the SOMLA online platform.

Rights of Use

The rights to use content herein are only for personal, non-commercial use, and must NOT be shared with a non-SOM member unless written and verified permission is obtained. A user will create, access, and/or use only ONE user account unless expressly permitted by SOMLA, and you will not share access to your account or access information for your account with any third party. All ownership rights to the intellectual property of the contents and services of this platform are reserved only for SOMLA institutions and not users in any capacity.

Services and Content Management

SOMLA offers courses and content from esteemed and verified individuals within our Loveworld Nation. As we aim to excellent content and services may not prevent the occurrence of unexpected events. SOMLA reserves the right to cancel, interrupt, reschedule, or modify any Content and service, or change the point value or weight of any assignment, quiz, or other assessment, either solely, or in accordance with Content Provider instructions.

SOMLA is committed to advancing the science of learning and teaching, and records of your participation in courses may be used for education research. In the interest of this research, you may be exposed to variations in the offered courses. Research findings will typically be reported at the aggregate level. Your personal identity may or may not be disclosed in any research findings with or without your expressed consent.

Academic Accreditation

It must be noted that NO academic accreditation is granted on any course or program completion on the SOMLA platform. Unless otherwise explicitly indicated by a credit-granting institution, participation in or completion of courses and programs does not confer any academic accreditation. Even if credit is awarded by one institution, there is no presumption that other institutions will oblige thereof. Security The security of our users on our platform is of uttermost priority. While we employ the best security measures and tactics (within capacity), there may be unprecedented and unauthorized intrusions with user accounts. Please notify us immediately of any compromise or unauthorized use of your account or any suspected related activity.

Revisions to the Terms

We reserve the right to revise the Terms at our sole discretion at any time. Any revisions to the Terms will be effective immediately upon posting by us. For any material changes to the Terms, we will take reasonable steps to notify you of such changes, via a banner on the website, email notification, another method, or combination of methods. In all cases, your continued use of the Services after publication of such changes, with or without notification, constitutes binding acceptance of the revised Terms.

Severability; Waiver

If it turns out that a particular provision of these Terms is not enforceable, this will not affect any other terms. If you do not comply with these Terms, and we do not take immediate action, this does not indicate that we relinquish any rights that we may have (such as taking action in the future).
